INCREASING AND DIVERSIFYING CROP PRODUCTION IN NORTHERN MALAWI

In 2019, the Tullamore Lions Club donated €5,500 to support smallholder farmers in their efforts to increase agriculture productivity and diversify crop production in order to face the challenges of climate change in Northern Malawi. This was followed by donations in 2020 and 2021, both worth €5,500. These generous contributions from Tullamore Lions Club helped increase community resilience to extreme climate changes, food nutrition and income security through the provision of various activities.
